At Country Care Children's Home we take the provision of the highest possible quality of service as an imperative. We have always sought to obtain excellent outcomes for children, which are measurable to the Every Child Matters outcomes.

The current regulatory body for the children’s home is Ofsted. We are subject to unannounced and random bi-annual inspections. Inspection reports are available to placing officers, etc. The Ofsted National Business Unit can be contacted on 0300 1231231.

The regulatory body for our school is Ofsted. We achieved registration as an independent school in August 2006 and in 2008, 2012 and 2015 were rated as outstanding. We are subject to inspection within the Ofsted framework.

The Meadows School is an accredited examination centre for examinations up to and including GCSEs with the AQA award body. We are inspected annually and are subject to spot checks, particularly during examinations.

The home has an independent visitor appointed in accordance with Regulation 44. Our Regulation 44 visitor is qualified and has many years’ experience in managing residential children’s settings. In addition, our visitor completes monthly unannounced visits and provides a report regard the running of the home and the well-being of the children.

Country Care Children’s home can provide a wide variety of outdoor education and adventurous activities. Country Care Children's Home is also a Duke of Edinburgh Award training unit.
