We pride ourselves on our highly skilled, educated and experienced staff team. Amongst the team we have a number of qualified social workers and currently have people undertaking Social Work and other degree training. We have people with psychology degrees, counselling qualifications, an art therapist, teachers, sundry outdoor education qualified staff, and all staff have a minimum of NVQ 3, while several hold NVQ 4.
We have great commitment to staff training and development; we hold the Investor in People award. We achieved this award only seven months after starting the company; this is a record and one we are very proud of!
All staff receive full induction training, basic food hygiene plus basic health and safety certificates, first aid, child protection training, Therapeutic Crisis Intervention certificate, Attachments and Attachment Disorder training and ongoing training and development.
We are a happy and friendly team and place great emphasis on team spirit and team work. We all work together and you will frequently see managers working and playing with the children and taking part in shifts.
